About: Historical When Pigs Fly of Ashe barbecue listing. A former owner’s published history describes relocation, later Shatley Springs operations and the launch of Hook’d on Smoke. Current service at the stored restaurant address has not been established.

Good to know: Do not rely on the old restaurant address or directory hours without direct confirmation. The former owner’s Hook’d on Smoke website now announces that successor business closed in 2026. This does not independently prove the status of every later operator using the old When Pigs Fly name, so no permanent-closure status or relocation is inferred for this listing.
