About: Watauga County's 185-acre mountain bike park just off US 421, with more than 10 miles of single-track trails from beginner green to double-black jump lines, an asphalt pump track, adventure playground, picnic shelter, and restrooms.

Cost: Free to access and ride. Bike rentals are not available on site; picnic shelter rental is separate through county parks.

Before you go: Helmets required; dogs must be leashed. Class I e-bikes are permitted, but bikes with throttles are not allowed on the trails. Follow posted travel directions and watch for hikers and walkers. Current trail access may change with conditions.

Seasonal notes: Winter weather can close trails between December 1 and April 1. The official tourism page lists bathrooms closed December 1-April 1; plan facilities accordingly.
